Payment & Reimbursement
Standard Rates
My standard rate is $175 per 45-55 minute session.
To maintain accessibility, I offer limited sliding-scale spots to clients with limited financial resources. If this applies to you, please let me know during our initial consultation call so we can explore our options.
Out of Network Provider
While I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance, I am able to provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit for possible reimbursement through your insurance company. Some questions you can ask your insurance provider to understand your reimbursement options include:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?
Do I have a deductible? If so, how much has been met so far?
How much of each session will be covered?
Is there a limited number of sessions I can book per year?
How do I submit my reimbursement receipts?
Good Faith EstimateYou have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care services will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you work with, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
This Good Faith Estimate does not account for late cancellation fees, no-show fees, or the cost of professional services provided outside of appointments.
Additional information about examples of case-by-case professional services provided outside of therapy sessions is included in the Consent for Services form that you will review with your intake paperwork.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
